Funders of Minnesota’s Native American Communities Strategy Dialogue

Native American in Philanthropy (NAP) invites you to join your philanthropic community members that also fund Native American communities in Minnesota.  This strategy dialogue will focus on opportunities for strategic and collective action, exploring what we could do better, together.

This dialogue is inclusive of those who fund Minnesota’s Native American communities, both urban and tribal. We will have space for strategy conversations, sharing learning, and development of deeper relationships, by forming working groups and action steps.

Our goals:

  • Consider our perspectives on the state of Native communities in Minnesota,
  • Review current strategies and intended impact on Native communities
  • Create opportunity for strategic and collective focus, ie. working groups

Bring your most promising practices and greatest challenges.

Consider the role you play and the role you wish to play in providing philanthropic support and advancing change with Native communities

Native Americans in Philanthropy, supported by ClearWay MN Foundation, Northwest Area Foundation and W.K. Kellogg Foundation has been hosting dialogues with philanthropy and Native communities. Our initial Dialogues focused on funders narratives, our perspectives, on healthy Native communities followed by Dialogue focused on funders of health issues with Native communities. This Strategy Dialogue will bring forward lessons learned and the creation of action steps within philanthropy.
