Minnesota's Changing Demographics

How demographic changes are transforming Minnesota

The next two decades will bring big changes to the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Andi Egbert, Assistant Director at the MN State Demographic Center, will discuss emerging trends in aging, racial and ethnic diversity, and population shifts within the state, and explain how these new demographic realities may impact Minnesota—with a particular focus on the arts. Join us for a lively discussion about Minnesota’s people—past, present and future!

If you like data and informed decisions, this is an exciting talk!

The event is open to anyone who wants to start thinking strategically about serving the changing populations. This is a 45 minute presentation with 15 minutes of Q and A.

The Playwrights' Center is housed in an old church in Seward. The front entrance is accessible by stairs only. There is an elevator just inside the back entrance off of the parking lot. If you require ASL interpretation or other accomodations to better enjoy the presentation, please contact Bethany at bethany@mrac.org.

Free street parking is plentiful on Franklin and 23rd.

There will be coffee and pastries availalble.
