Magical Evening of Literacy - Atlanta
A Magical Evening of Literacy brings together corporate and community leaders, key stakeholders in education and friends in support of Malcolm Mitchell and his Read With Malcolm literacy programs.
Guests will enjoy silent and live auctions and have the opportunity to meet Malcolm Mitchell and hear more about his experiences and vision to change children's lives through literacy. The event will feature a dynamic conversation about the state of literacy in our community and inspirational stories from educators about young readers. Funds raised at this dinner will enable Share the Magic Foundation to pursue its mission to inspire young and striving readers by introducing book ownership and bringing Read With Malcolm literacy programs to students in Title I schools and under-resourced communities.
With an alarming 65% of 3rd graders in Georgia not reading proficiently, we have our work cut out for us. As Malcolm says, "through reading, you can achieve anything."

Read with Malcolm is a youth literacy initiative supported by Share the Magic Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, dedicated to promoting the benefits of reading and book ownership.
