The Buffett Approach to
Business Management
Arrive at 5:30, sign-in, check out the view as you network with participants and SCORE Volunteers. Program begins promptly at 6:00 PM. This workshop is sponsored by Manasota SCORE and Fifth Third Bank. Participation at this session is reserved for companies already in business and for those SCORE clients and others starting and operating new businesses who have attended previous workshops and completed the Business Model Canvas.
Too many businesses are stagnant, not living up to their potential, face recurring challenges month to month, or have hit a revenue or profit ceiling. They are working their tails off, but can’t seem to make any progress or find themselves in situations where they feel lost.
This highly interactive session will help attendees gain perspective and insight on techniques that other companies have used to redefine their processes and operations based on the wisdom of the Buffets; Jimmy and Warren. We will share proven and practical pointers on how many successful companies have improved aspects of their business like profitability, competitiveness, and company morale. The session will also touch on other subjects like debunking 21 Business Myths, dealing with VCs, holding more effective meetings, positioning customer service to improve your bottom line, a guide to making better business decisions, and how to decide if it’s a bad strategy or just poor execution.
Jimmy shows us the way to elevate our inventiveness, creativity, and celebrate our successes.
Attendees will also benefit from some of Warren’s insights like the difference between price and value; the difference between successful and very successful people; and why you should be very leery of leveraging your business.
