The American Rescue Plan Act: Important New Updates for Small Business Owners

This webinar will be presented online via Zoom; pre-register to receive the Meeting ID information. The workshop is free for all registrants and will begin promptly at 5:30 PM.

This free LIVE stream will cover important topics to small business owners regarding:

  1. The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) signed by the President in March. Learn how the latest stimulus bill includes more funds for PPP loans, EIDL, EIDL Advance and related employer/employee issues.
  2. The Employee Retention Tax Credit Act allowing up to $10,000 in tax credit per employee for eligible businesses.
  3. The recently announced $28.6 billion in grants for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund and the soon to be available $2 billion Shuttered Venue Operator Grants.

Barry retired after 36 years as president of a health care industry management consulting firm. His has worked with hospitals, healthcare systems, and large physician groups to develop operational, strategic and financial aspects of their organizations. Barry’s expertise is helping clients develop and implement strategic business plans and marketing plans; as well as identifying opportunities for performance improvement in existing businesses. He has extensive experience in getting to the heart of complex operational, organizational, and financial issues necessary to grow his client’s businesses. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration from the University of Illinois and the University of Pennsylvania.

Alan S. Gassman, J.D., LL.M. is a board-certified estate planning and trust lawyer who practices in Clearwater, Florida. He has an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida, and practices in the areas of trust and estate planning, taxation, wealth preservation, and the representation of physicians and medical practices.

Mr. Gassman speaks at many tax conferences, national programs, and national and local webinars, including Bloomberg BNA Tax and Accounting, the Notre Dame Tax and Estate Planning Institute and at many other conferences and webinars.

Brandon Ketron J.D., LL.M. is an associate at the law firm of Gassman, Crotty & Denicolo, P.A. and practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Tax, and Corporate and Business Law. Brandon graduated from the University of Florida in May of 2016 where he received his LL.M. in Taxation. He received his JD from Stetson University College of Law and graduated cum laude. He received his undergraduate degree from Roanoke College where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in both Accounting and Finance. Brandon is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and is a licensed CPA in Florida and Virginia.
