Ethnobotany Course 

The advent of agriculture was approximately 25,000 years ago. What has happened since then? In this six-week course, Senior Horticulturist Hannah Traggis will discuss how agriculture influenced civilization and how changes in the last century have impacted our food and environment. She will also look ahead and discuss how the choices we make as consumers influence the future of food. September 24th to October 29th, 6:30 to 8pm

Hannah Traggis, our senior horticulturist, manages Mass Hort's edible gardens throughout The Gardens at Elm Bank. She oversees the Seed to Table vegetable garden which produces more than 4,000 pounds of produce each year to support our educational mission and local food pantries.
