Learn to play African Xylophone (Balafon)
Learn basic patterns on Balafon - African Xylophones. These wooden instruments sound beautiful and have melodic qualities shared between simple interlocking patterns. Their unique construction uses gourds as the amplifiers for each key, giving an ethereal tone.
You will learn basic technique and develop patterns rhythms on the balafons, and you are welcome to record the workshop for your own reference.
