Join us Friday eve, February 1
for an exciting evening of refreshments, community and learning while we take a look at how our individual ancestors play a powerful role in helping and healing.
Daniel writes:
"From my experiences as a client in psychotherapy and as a marriage and family therapist, I believe that much of the suffering mental health professionals seek to treat can be worked with as inter-generational patterns, family karma, and ancestral influence.
Our loving ancestors are capable, invested, and available in the present to support good outcomes for family and personal healing. In this introductory talk we'll discuss ways to increase awareness of ancestral influence and acquire ancestor-related skills to help ourselves, our loved ones, and our clients with family and personal healing."
Daniel Foor, Ph.D., MFT, leads trainings, rituals, and community circles focusing on honoring ancestors, tending our relations with the natural world, and remembering our unique destiny and calling. He also offers individual healing/mentorship sessions and ministerial services (e.g. weddings, funerals, birth rituals, home blessings). Daniel is the founder of the Earth Medicine Alliance, co-founder of a ritual circle working with mountains around S.F. Bay, and a priest of Ifa and Obatala in the Ifa/Orisha tradition of Yoruba-speaking West Africa. For more info see: www.ancestralmedicine.org
