RE:      ANNUAL MEETING 2019

The Annual Meeting of the Vermont Conference, United Church of Christ, will take place on April 26-27 at the Lake Morey Inn in Fairlee, Vermont. This year’s theme is “What in God’s Name is Going on in Vermont?” Our format will be a bit different this year to allow for some extended experiential engagement with the principles and application of Appreciative Inquiry for our Conference and our congregations.

We are excited to welcome the Rev. Dr. Rob Voyle, Episcopal priest, psychologist, executive coach, teacher, trainer and founder of the Clergy Leadership Institute. Rob has been coaching and training clergy, church leaders and others in the Appreciative Way for over 30 years. Please visit his website: www.clergyleadership.com for more information and to read the many positive comments about Appreciative Way training and Rob as teacher and coach.

Your Annual Meeting Planning Committee has been hard at work shaping our time together. Expect moving and innovative worship and music. We will have the Peacemaker’s Gathering on Friday afternoon. There will be an opportunity for drop-in workshops on a variety of topics, speak-outs, the chance to consider the business of the Conference and to dream together about the future. Many displays will also be offered along with the opportunity to meet some of our partners in ministry from nearby and around the world.

Of course, there is also time to greet old friends and make new ones and to enjoy the beautiful Lake Morey.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Lynn Bujnak

Conference Minister
