Abstract:

Join us as we discuss how to effectively detect and respond to threats within AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments. Proliferation of cloud has fundamentally changed the way applications are developed, deployed and secured. Security teams not only need visibility & control over what is deployed in the cloud but they also need to protect cloud infrastructure against advanced threats such as account & access key compromises, malicious insider, network intrusion and data exfiltration. In this talk, we will discuss how you can effectively detect and respond to advanced threats in cloud environments

Speaker:

Ankur has spent 18+ years bringing innovative security, collaboration and virtualization technologies to market. He is passionate about building companies from the ground up and building them into market leaders. Previously, he ran products at CipherCloud, where he launched and led the go-to-market for the industry-leading CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker). Ankur has also held leadership positions at Symantec, Citrix and Cisco. Ankur holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Sangram Dash, CISM, PMP, MBA

Sangram Dash is a specialist in the execution of ERM, GRC and risk control frameworks with 10+ years experience in the FinTech industry (Square, Braintree, Venmo and PayPal). Mr. Dash has led various risk management programs to strengthen internal controls, process transformation and regulatory compliance. Mr. Dash is passionate about building secure and compliant software products in FinTech industry. Mr. Dash presently leads Technology Audit and Assurance program at Square. Prior to Square, Mr. Dash led Product Risk assurance function at PayPal with focus on Venmo and Braintree. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Project Management Professional (PMP). He has a MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
