Petroleum, Poetry, and Peace
The exploration for ecological Hope, Economic Justice, and a Sense of Place

Through the prism of Poetry, Spirituality, and a Sense of Place, we will explore our relationship with the Earth, while facing the crises of climate change, fracking, and the scarcity of available resources.

We are honored to welcome Margie Swedish and The Peace Poets to Homecoming Farm.

Margie Swedish is the

Founder of The Center for New Creation

Blogger of Spirituality and Ecological Hope

Pilgrim to the Alberta Tar Sands

and author of the new book

Living Beyond the "End of the World": A Spirituality of Hope.

Join us as Margie shares her  reflections on her pilgrimage to the Alberta tar sands and  her insights into  the ecological crises we are facing, including their impact on our own Sense of Place.

This is not just a political or economic crisis; it is also deeply spiritual. It has become obvious we must not only live differently, we must Be different.

We will be joined by

The Peace Poets

The Peace Poets are a community based arts collective from New York City. Their powerful performances move the spirit and touch the heart as  they open spaces for all people to embrace their role as leaders in the creation of more just and loving communities.
