thursday, may 8th * millesime restaurant (carlton hotel) * new york city

Marion Yanovksy has certainly gone above and beyond for nearly 50 years as a volunteer for the NTSAD New York Area chapter. Her leadership has fostered amazing work and we are all so proud of her!  We are excited to have the opportunity to thank her for all she has done.

Dr. Ed Kolodny has also dedicated his career to the rare diseases that affected the NTSAD family. For over 50 years he has helped families and guided research in this rare field. He has known Marion for much of that time and we are pleased to have him join us as we look back at all the NTSAD New York Area chapter has done.

Honoring NTSAD New York and the Incomparable Marion Yanovsky

National Tay-Sachs & Allied Diseases Association (NTSAD) will be honoring the work of its New York Area Chapter with an event at New York’s Millesime restaurant in the Carlton Hotel on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 6:30 pm.

It is our pleasure to invite you to join us.

This event will also honor the remarkable work of its co-president, Marion Yanovsky, who has given her heart and soul to the NTSAD mission for nearly 50 years.  Dr. Ed Kolodny will be joining us to reminisce about the amazing work Marion has done for NTSAD.  We expect over 100 guests to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, good company, entertainment and the opportunity to win a fun array of raffle items - all for a worthwhile cause!

NTSAD supports children, adults and their families who struggle with Tay-Sachs and the related diseases, all that are devastating and often fatal. Children affected by these diseases progressively lose all motor skills and eventually their life within the first decade of life. Adults diagnosed with the late-onset form of Tay-Sachs live with a progressive loss of motor skills that leads to an inevitable loss of independence.

Please RSVP, sponsor or purchase a program book ad below, or if you'd like to make a gift in honor of this evening, click here.
