Speaker: Joey McKenna

As an Account Executive/Medicare Specialist, Joey manages accounts in the small group benefits department while also providing guidance on Medicare for all size employers. Joey provides small group clients with guidance and a clear understanding of the marketplace, carriers, and regulations brought about under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Joey’s customer first focus and her ability to guide clients through the complicated world of health care reform and Medicare, has proven to be a great asset to clients. As plans, rules, rates, and requirements change, Joey’s expertise and friendly attitude provide clients with peace of mind during this process. Prior to joining EPIC, Joey worked with Comprehensive Medical Connections, Inc. (CMC) for seventeen years as the vice president of operations, specializing in Medicare benefits, small group, and individual plans.

She also managed the CMC office, including overseeing all its team members. Joey is a licensed agent in California as well as holding her Covered California certification. In her spare time, Joey enjoys gardening, photography, hiking and volunteering with her daughter's activities.
