Made In La Porte County 2017

Display and showcase your products that are manufactured, assembled, and distributed right here in La Porte County! Grab the attention of hundreds of local school children, community members, and businesses.  Sign up today for this FREE EVENT!

The Economic Development Corporation Michigan City (EDCMC) and the Greater La Porte Economic Development Corporation (GLEDC) once again will be hosting "Made in La Porte County".  This popular event will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm in Michigan City at the brand new Haskell Building.

This special event allows local firms to showcase the products that are produced, assembled and/or distibuted right here in La Porte County.  It will provide an opportunity for local community members, students, city and county officials, and other businesses to view the interesting array of products all in one location. Numerous schools from the county and surrounding counties have participated in the past and again will be invited to get acquainted with the companies in La Porte County.  This type of exposure can ultimately help build the future workforce of our County based employers.

Again this year, we will be encouraging the business participants to set up their displays the day before the event for a wonderful business to business networking opportunity.  The EDCMC and GLEDC will be hosting a Business After Hours on September 13th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm and all Made in La Porte County employer participants are invited to attend.  We will ask Made in La Porte County registrants to set up their displays from 1:00 - 4:00 pm on September 13th.

This is a wonderful County wide community project and we hope that you will be able to participate.

Sincerely,

Clarence Hulse, Executive Director for EDCMC

Bert Cook, Executive Director for GLEDC
