During the facilitated, three-day workshop, attendees learn to incorporate NIMS industry standards and industry-recognized credentials into curriculum
Intended for instructors of industrial technology maintenance (ITM) and mechatronics, the workshop provides theoretical and hands-on training, plus sample lesson plans and equipment identification - all to assist educators in aligning with NIMS standards and ultimately, offering NIMS mainteannce credentials to students.
The April 24-26 workshop will focus on two maintenance areas:
Attending educators will also have the opportunity to earn the NIMS Basic Hydraulics Systems credential and the Basic Pneumatics Systems credential.
Registration Fee
The investment per participant is $995. This includes the instructor handbook, professional instruction, and NIMS registration and exam fees for all credentials earned during the workshop. TAACCCT grant funds may be used to cover the costs.
