For the third consecutive year, Slow Food WiSE is very excited to offer an Ark of Taste Vegetable Set ready to plant in your own home garden, community garden, school garden or your garden of choice. Included in each kit are 6 heirloom vegetable seedling varietals. New this year, we have selected some of the finest Chef's in our area to submit recipies using the vegetables selected for our plant kit. You will recieve one recipe card to go along with each plant in your kit. Recipies will also appear on our social media outlets, website as well as our newsletter throughout the growing season.
Slow Food WiSE has selected a set of 6 regional vegetable plants that are well suited to our area and delicious. We've partnered with Maggie's Herbs and Heirlooms who has already planted your seeds and will nurture them along, until they are ready to be planted in your garden of choice. Order your set now, and pick them up from us at our booth at the Bay View Plant Sale in Bay View on May 30th from 8 am - 1 pm, or have them delivered to your Metro Milwaukee area home if you purchase your very own raised garden bed, built by our partner the Victory Garden Initiative. We will allow other pick up arrangements to be made. Should you not be able to make the Bay View Plant Sale, please contact Brooke Seipel at info@slowfoodwise.org to make other pick up arrangemnts.

If you're new to gardening, intimidated about how to start or want to expand, consider purchasing a raised bed from our Friends at the Victory Garden Blitz. A crew of volunteers will deliver your raised bed, fill with organic soil and you are ready to grow! With this option, your veggies will be delivered.
Speaking of the Victory Garden Blitz, if you purchase an additional kit to donate to their Community Gardening efforts, Slow Food will deliver them to Victory Garden Initiative.
