EMR/ECA Course - CFEMR221

CareFlite will be offering a hybrid EMR/ECA Course beginning June 6, 2022 - August 8, 2022.   All assignments, quizzes, and lectures will be administered online.  CareFlite utilizes the Canvas online infrastructure for the online portion of this class.   Live classes will be utilized for proctoring exams and skills practice.   Live classes will be from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and are listed below.  Students are allowed to miss up to 4 live class hours. Students completing the course will be cleared to test for the NREMT Exam.

Students are expected to be in attendance for class.  Missed class hours mean missed exams and skills practice.    Students will be required to purchase the textbook utilized in class.   The accompanying workbook is not required but highly reccomended.  Once registered, prospective students will be contacted by the Course Coordinator for further registration information.

 

Live Class Dates:

June 2022: 6th, 20th

July 2022: 5th, 18th, 25th

August 2022: 1st, 4th, 8th

 

Textbook: AAOS Emergency Medical Responder, 6th Edition

American Heart Association CPR will be provided to each student at NO ADDITIONAL COST. 

This class will be seprate from the course dates.  

Students will be subject to a background check and the following is required.

-Clear background with no higher than a class C misdemeanor.

-High School Diploma or GED by the completion of this course.

-At least 18 years of age by the completion of this course.

 

 

This course is for first responders and law enforcement affiliated with CareFlite's service areas.
