This year our Conference plenary sessions will be held in the Commission Meeting Room at the Port of Hueneme. The Port is conveniently located a half mile away from the hotel. While most delegates will likely enjoy the walk, there will be shuttles available as well.

The nearest major airport is Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA / KSBA). This airport has domestic flights from Santa Barbara, California and is 50 miles from the center of Port Hueneme, CA.

Another major airport is Bob Hope Airport (BUR / KBUR), which has domestic flights from Burbank, California and is 64 miles from Port Hueneme, CA.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX / KLAX) has international and domestic flights from Los Angeles, California and is 65 miles from Port Hueneme, CA.

Golf Networking Outing

You and your companion are invited to attend an optional complimentary golf networking outing on Sunday, July 10, 2016.

Golfers receive 18 holes of golf, club rental (if necessary, golf cart, and a meal).

As space is limited, advance reservations are required.  Golfing is restricted to conference delegates and their companions.

Companion Tours

Your companion is invited to join APP delegates for golf, breakfasts, and dinners. In addition, there are special tours with lunches especially for the companions!

On Monday, companions will join the delegates to watch the Opening Ceremony and Festivities featuring a Chumash Blessing. After that, they will go on a special companion tour to visit the Ronald Reagan Library, Island Packers, and enjoy lunch together. The companions will join the delegates on tours of the Port of Hueneme, and Auto Processing Centers, followed by a tour of the Maritime Museum where we will all enjoy dinner.


Tuesday's Tour will include a visit to the City of Ojai, lunch in downtown Ventura, and a tour of San Buenaventura Mission Museum and Serra Cross Park. Dinner will be a casual Western Wear affair at the Atmore Ranch with the delegates.

Wednesday will be spent with the delegates touring Chiquita and Mission Produce followed by lunch and bocce ball at Limoneira Ranch.
