Introduction to R-PAS Forensic Applications with Case Examples 

This workshop presents the research and strategic foundation for using R-PAS in forensic assessment. Accordingly, important research and conceptual issues involved with defending the Rorschach and R-PAS in court will be presented.

Course Outline: 
I. Concepts and strategies for supporting the Rorschach in court. (30 minutes) 
2. Critical research supporting R-PAS in court. (45 minutes)
3. Conceptual and research information relevant to custody and criminal cases. (45 minutes) 
4. Custody case example (part 1) (60 minutes)
LUNCH (1 hr) 
4. Custody case example (part 2) (80 minutes)
5. Criminal case example. (140 minutes) 
6. Questions and Comments (20 mins)

Fees: The cost for the one-day training is either $195 (early registration, before May 6th) or $225 (regular, May 7th or after). Students (40% off), university instructors (20% off), and clinical supervisors (10% off) may request a discount code by contacting us at info@r-pas.org; students should submit proof of academic enrollment or an unofficial transcript, while instructors and supervisors should submit some documentation attesting to their role. 

Cancellations can be made with a full refund minus a $25 processing fee up to seven days before the event. 

Continuing Education Credit: Participants in this program are eligible for 7 hours of continuing education credit. The program must be completed in its entirety to qualify for this credit (i.e., partial hours cannot be accommodated). CEs are an additional $15 and can be obtained by entering a value of 1 in the "CE Credits" section of the registration page.
