R-PAS Interpretation in

Multimethod Assessment: 2 Cases

 Joni L. Mihura

This 8-hour webinar by Joni L. Mihura, Ph.D., ABAP presents 2 adult cases that illustrate the clinical application of R-PAS in a multimethod context. The webinar focuses on two cases that Dr. Mihura supervised who were assessed with multiple methods of assessment. Case 1 is “RM” in the R-PAS manual, a single gay man in his mid-20s. In addition to R-PAS, his test results include the WAIS-IV, MMPI-2 (which is also scored for the MMPI-2-RF), and the TAT. Beyond the discussion of RM’s R-PAS results that are in the test manual, the case presentation and discussion will show specifically what R-PAS added to the multimethod assessment in understanding his personality and answering his assessment questions. The second case is a young heterosexual woman (“AK”) concerned that concussions had affected her memory and IQ. She was tested with a battery of cognitive ability, memory, and achievement tests (WAIS-IV, WMS-IV, CPT-II, WIAT-III) and the TOMM as well as R-PAS and the MMPI-2 (also scored for the MMPI-2-RF). After learning more about her condition, another self-report test was used to help conduct an interview around those symptoms.

After enrolling in the webinar, participants will be provided with a a link to access a copy of the full R-PAS results for the 2 clinical cases, powerpoint, video links, and, if CEs are desired, the final quiz and course evaluation. This information will be emailed to you within 48 hours of registration. You can contact manager@r-pas.org if you have questions concering this.

The goal of the webinar is to understand clients more fully and accurately through multimethod clinical assessments that incorporate careful inferences made from valid, performance-based R-PAS scales.
