2018 Sustainable Farm Tour
Come tour local, sustainable farms and discover the delicious potatoes, dairy, fruits, and veggies produced right here in Langlade County!
The tours will run 9:00 am, 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Choose three farms you wish to visit. Arrive 10 minutes prior to tour, so your farmers can start the tour on time.
Grandview Orchard & Nursery Stock is an apple orchard managed as an ecosytem without the use of synthetic chemicals. Come see how we use pigs, chickens and beneficial plants as we make this transformation!
Take a hay wagon ride at Bures Family Organic Dairy Farm through the pastures and fields to see the cows at work. Visit the calves in the barn. Look at the machinery and explore the farm buildings!
McDougal's Farm is the first Community Supported Agriculture vegetable farm in our community. They grow 400 different varieties including flowers, herbs and vegetables. The guided tour will meander through the patchwork type fields and hoop houses, giving the visitors an up close look at the growing methods used to keep the farm sustainable and chemical free.

Tapped Maple Syrup makes delicious and all-natural maple syrup from sustainably managed forests at the base of the glacial moraine near Neva. Come learn about the maple syrup making process, our land management practices, newly installed solar power system and sample our pure and infused maple syrups.
