• To familiarize participants with the theory, concepts, construction, components and installation of cryogenic pumps conceived and manufactured by Cryostar.
• To teach participants maintenance procedures and specific repairs.
• Learn trade terminology (I.E. NPSH, cavitation, etc.)
• Understand the function and construction of principle parts and associated auxiliaries.
• Learn the procedures to start, operate, load and stop the pumps safely.
• Apply maintenance methods to optimize equipment operation and reliability.
• Understand security systems function and the principle loops of control.
• Diagnose and tackle specific repair methods for cryogenic pumps in their user environment.
• Master dismantling/reassembling and installation techniques.
• An elementary knowledge in general mechanics and/or mechanical maintenance.
• $200 per person for a 2-Day Course. Space is limited.

• SDPD pump overview and SDPD, WDPD & LXR pump hands on assembly
• Tank sizing for cylinder transfills
• Pump sizing & selection
• Liquid CO2/N20 pump installation
• Pump installation materials review
• Pump piping insulation review
• PPC pump overview and hands on assembly
• P1100 pump hands on assembly
Day 2 - Class begins at 8:00am and ends at 5:00pm
• Conventional tan pump installation
• Thermosiphon tank pump installation
• Reciprocating pump/tank demonstration
• PD3000 pump overview and hands on assembly
• Tour of Weldcoa
• MRP pump overview
• Old CryoChem P1600 hands on assembly
