2018 GFWC Georgia State Institute 

To my fellow sisters in Federation,

Eleanor Roosevelt wrote "the purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience."   I encourage you to experience and take a "Trip of a Life Time" August 17-19 with me and the 2018-2020 leadership team.  It is an exciting time to come to Institute in Athens to learn about the new plan of work, to participate in some amazing and fun hands-on activities, and to be revitalized with encouragement and inspiration.  These women have worked feverously to provide their expertise to you to motivate your club to do amazing things.  They have invited guests for you to meet and to learn more about various programs and projects our clubs can support.

The goal of Institute is to "LEAD, ENCOURAGE, INSPIRE"  our membership.  Our tropical theme will be carried out throughout the weekend and "lei's" will be provided to you at registration.   I hope to see some festive Hawaiian sportswear and dresses this weekend!

The program is amazing!  You will not want to miss this special time together to learn, to fellowship, to just have some fun while doing great things. There are opportunities for service this weekend by donating school supplies and book bags for foster children for Domestic Violence and recycling your used tennis shoes at the Homelife table.

In all that you do this weekend, remember to be kind to each other, show support to your fellow sisters, and welcome first time attendees.  Make a new friend!  I hope you enjoy this trip!
