About EAP

The Entrepreneurial Training Program was created to assist potential and existing entrepreneurs in the creation and expansion of a business. Through a series of courses, seminars, counseling and technical assistance, participants can maximize their knowledge of business operations.

60-Hour Entrepreneurial Training Course

The course starts March 05, 2018. This ten(10) week business training course is designed for participants to interact in sixty(60) hours of required business courses and a minimum of ten(10) hours of business counseling. Class meets Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 9:00p.m.

Entrepreneurs will recieve one-on-one counseling assistance, assistance with packaging business loans and peer group support. A major requirement of the training course is the completion of a business plan.

Participants in this program will learn the following business concepts:

• Principles of Entrepreneurship
• Fundamentals of Financial Management
• Management and Operations
• Product Development and Marketing

Cost

Tuition is $300.00, includes textbooks and materials. This payment is due upon acceptance into the program. Payable by check or money order to: Suffolk County Community College - EAP
