Syracuse Chapter of NYAEYC: Our Long -Term Investigation into Performance Art 

Please join SU's Preschool teachers Cheryl Walsh, Suzanne Florczyk, Hope Kuniholm and Amanda Townley as they share their long term journey into using theater arts as a medium for curriculum. This workshop will explore how the children's interest in magic progressed to a field trip to Syracuse Stage, mask making, storytelling and play productions. This team will outline the process of how children's interest of a topic turned into a long term project while in accordance with the center's Reggio Emilia education philosophy.
