Join Friends of ENCA Farm for the Denver Launch of:

" Agam- Filipino Naratives on Uncerainaty and Climate Change"

Agam- is an old Filipino word for uncertainty and memory, which captures the essence of this groundbreaking work. Inside the book are 26 images and creative narratives in eight Filipino languages (translated into English), crafted by 24 Filipino writers representing a broad array of disciplines- poets, journalists, anthropologists, scientist, and artists.

We will spend the evening hearing experts from the book and a lecture from guest speaker and Agam contributing author, Renato Redentor Constantino. Constantino has worked as an advocate, advisor and campaigner on climate and energy policy, and environment and development issues, in arenas spanning throughout Asia. He is the Executive Director of the Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (iCSC) headquartered in Quezon City in the Philippines. iCSC is a non-profit organization working to develop sustainable energy solutions and fair climate policies throughout the Philippines.

Appetizers and drinks will be provided, we hope you can join us!

Proceeds from this event will support Friends of ENCA Farm’s establishment of an organic seed bank in the Northern Philippines as well as the community based climate change mitigation efforts of the Institute for Climate Sustainable Cities
