Managing Director, Ballmer Group
Jeff leads efforts of the Ballmer Group (founded by former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and his wife Connie) to identify how philanthropy and civic activism can help improve economic mobility for low-income children and families in the United States.
He is the former managing director of StriveTogether, the national movement of more than 70 communities - including Tacoma - working to improve educational outcomes and helping children succeed from cradle to career. Graduate Tacoma was selected with Dallas, Portland, Memphis, Cincinnati, and Racine in a first national StriveTogether cohort to accelerate student progress.

Pierce County Deputy Prosecutor
Curtis mentors youth from his old Hilltop neighborhood, and serves as a coach and motivational speaker. A Stadium High School graduate, Curtis enrolled at Tacoma Community College when he decided it was time to pursue his dream of becoming a lawyer. He graduated with his AA degree in 1999. He continued his education at the University of Washington, graduating with a Sociology degree in 2001 and a Juris Doctorate in 2005.
