Whether you are thinking of buying a business, expanding an existing business, or even thinking of selling your business, you will benefit from this workshop.   The value of a business and the amount of money that can be raised to expand it both depend upon the business’s future cash flow.  The workshop will focus on making a plan, including a cash-flow plan, that answers key valuation questions for potential buyers and investors.  One hour will be devoted to raising money – including the how to and pros and cons of raising money from different sources.  Self-financing, friends and family, internet-based crowd funding, venture capital, angel investors, bank borrowing and SBA backed loans will be discussed and a representative of the SBA will be on hand to answer questions.
