Wednesday, September 4th. from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Workshop is free of charge. Doors will open and refreshments will be available from 5:30 on. Come early and grab a half sandwich while they last. Last chance to attend this workshop in 2019.
If you own a small business or plan to start one, this workshop will help you explore what you need to know about business finances -- from figuring out your break-even point to understanding your tax responsibilities and the impact of the latest tax law changes. Focused on cash flow, not accounting, this workshop will help you identify the key financial factors that drive your business--allowing you to avoid common pitfalls. You will learn how to develop a cash flow forecast to determine your business's financing needs and repayment capacity. The last part of the workshop focuses on ways to source money for investment in your business. We cover everything from the pros and cons of investing money you already have to internet-based crowd funding, microloans, bank borrowing and SBA-backed loans. A representative from the Small Business Administration will be on hand to answer questions.
