Annual Meeting:  Members Only

Negotiating for Success!
Professor Michael T. Collatrella, Jr.
McGeorge School of Law

Join us for our Annual Meeting of Members with a special presentation (see below).  Light appetizers and drinks will be provided. Encourage people to JOIN so they can attend, too.

The Negotiating for Success presentation offers a systematic
approach to the fundamentals of negotiating effectively with clients
and colleagues.  It will introduce you to science-based
principles that will improve your negotiating results.

Professor Michael T. Colatrella Jr., McGeorge School of Law, is an expert in alternative dispute resolution, mediation, negotiation, and conflict management. He is co-author of the interdisciplinary text Mediation—Skills & Techniques, which is  widely used in law schools, graduate schools, and schools of diplomacy. He served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from June 2015 to May 2019 and Interim Dean from July 2019 to June 2020.

Professor Colatrella has mediated disputes involving employment contracts, commercial contracts, consumer fraud, personal injury, and commercial and residential leases. He also educates lawyers, corporate executives, and businesspeople in a wide variety of negotiation, conflict management and human relations matters.

Before pursuing a full-time academic career, Professor Colatrella was a litigator in New Jersey at Reed Smith Shaw & McClay, which is listed among The American Lawyer's top 100 law firms in the United States. Professor Colatrella earned his BA at Rutgers University, his law degree at Seton Hall University, and his Master of Laws degree at New York University.
