Join us for a half-day event that will provide a hands-on, relevant and essential experience for board chairs of all size nonprofit organizations. This highly interactive program will encourage meaningful dialogue and sharing of best practices between current and incoming board chairs to complement the content offered by the curriculum experts.

The session is designed to focus on these critical areas:

• Defining the roles of the board chair, the board members and the staff
• Discussion expectations of everyone's responsibilities
• Understanding the importance of identifying, recruiting and retaining a diverse board
• Reviewing how by-laws can shape the board
• Running effective and strategic board meetings
