National Geocaching Day!
Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. Join PBS SoCal, Orange County CUE, and Discovery Education us for a fun-filled morning of geocaching for the whole family!
When: Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 9 a.m.
Where: Santiago Park in Santa Ana, CA
Why: It's National Geocaching Day
Come learn and experience the world of geocaching. You and your family will learn what geocaching is, how to find geocaches and (for teachers) how to apply geocaching to the classroom.
Special activities for kids on directions, navigation, and using a compass. Boy and Girl Scout troops welcome.
