Town Hall Visioning Summit - Maine Destination Management Plan 

Tourism is a key driver of Maine’s economy. When tourism works, Maine works. Its powerful impact flows to the farthest reaches of the state’s eight tourism regions, creating thousands of needed jobs, contributing billions in tax revenue, and improving the quality of life for residents throughout the state.

This project seeks to develop a clear and actionable five-year strategic plan that is both focused on accelerating Maine's recovery from impacts of the pandemic and establishing a solid foundation and direction for future growth. The plan will be industry informed, with input gathered through these visioning summits, and through an online survey.  These engagement activities will seek input on strategic opportunities, challenges, long-term needs, and priorities.
