Free national conference for NHS staff - Thursday 16th March 2017

NHS Trusts are under enormous pressure to reduce their temporary staffing spend against the ever growing demand for NHS services.

NHS organisations continue to face increasing expenditure on agency workers across all staff groups, leading to a multi-billion pound annual bill.

Despite pressure from government, NHS Trusts have struggled to reduce their spending due to a variety of factors. As a result, measures have been introduced to mandate use of approved frameworks and agency rates have been capped.

The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub invites you to attend its sixth national agency staffing conference, which will highlight ways in which NHS organisations can manage their demand more effectively and share best practice through proven case studies.

Who Should Attend?

This full day event is FREE to staff from NHS organisations. It is aimed at anyone at any level within any NHS organisation who has the ability/responsibility to book or manage temporary workers, or has an interest in reducing agency staffing spend.

Agenda

We are still finalising the agenda and workshops and this will be announced in due course. Previous attendees will be familiar with the high calibre of speakers which this event attracts. (Previous speakers have included senior HR directors from NHS Trusts, Government ministers, Department of Health officials, industry bodies and thought leaders.)
