This educational experience provides a new awareness of self, a new sense of dignity and hope. As educators, the opportunity to work in concert with our peers empowers us to look within to strengthen our classrooms rather than to simply bow to the pressures that come from the outside.
Examples will be drawn from participants and from the national project, Educate the Whole Child, which enthusiastically endorses a range of approaches that put the focus on individual students, their talents and potential. Students respond much better to growing their assets than documenting their limitations.

This two-day program will include a variety of presentations in both discussion and hands-on settings (indoors and out, weather permitting).
Facilitators: Tom McGuire, Elizabeth Lynch & Casey Murrow
Workshop Fees:
September 29-30 cost = $250 (includes coffee/tea, snacks, but not lunch).
