What I Didn't learn in Grad School: The Essential Skills of Being an Educator 

So many teachers start out teaching with content knowledge but find themselves searching for the tools of teaching. Teaching requires so much more than understanding the curriculum. In order to run an effective classroom a teacher must have an understanding of the art behind teaching, which is often not taught. This workshop series is for anyone who finds themselves searching for support and additional tools to create a classroom culture that supports effective learning regardless of the age or needs of the students. In this five-part series we will cover the following topic areas in depth while providing participants with practical tools and strategies to use in their classrooms:
