Dr. Joan Beder is a professor at Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work, where she has been teaching social work practice for many years and where she oversees the Certificate Program in Social Work Practice with the Military. She is the editor of Advances in Social Work Practice with the Military. Her areas of expertise include military social work, health care, and clinical practice. She has presented at numerous national and international conferences on a variety of topics related to the military, and is the author of several books.
