SCPA Collegiate Meeting & Awards Presentation
Hosted by The Johnsonian & Roddey McMillan Record, Winthrop University

This event is open to collegiate newspaper staffs and advisers.

Join us for a day of training and celebrating Collegiate Journalism in the Palmetto State!
The meeting will be hosted in McBryde Hall at Winthrop University.

Agenda for Collegiate Meeting:

9:30 - 10 a.m.  | Registration and newspaper swap

10 – 11 a.m.     |  Life After Graduation
Panel discussion featuring Cassie Cope, healthcare and wallet issues
reporter at The Charlotte Observer, former politics reporter at The State, and former SCPA
Foundation intern with the Index-Journal in Greenwood; Heather Long, multimedia producer
for GVLtoday, former freelancer for CNN, and former multimedia producer for WHNS Fox Carolina
in Greenville; and Mark Manicone, staff writer for The Lancaster News

Cost to attend is $5. You must register by April 16.

Parking will be available outside of McBryde Hall. Winthrop University students will be in the lot to assist with parking.
