Anxiety. Sometimes good. Sometimes bad. Often stigmatized. Join us Tuesday, November 13th at The Marin School for a special screening of the documentary film Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety.
In 55 minutes, Angst leads the conversation that we all need to have. It features anxiety experts, teens and adults sharing stories of anxiety including a few from our own neighborhood... The Marin School teachers and students played an important role in this film.
The film answers many questions including: What is the difference between being anxious and having an anxiety disorder? What can we do to feel less anxious? How can I help someone who is struggling?
It starts at home. It starts in our community. It starts with a conversation. It starts Tuesday, November 14th at 6:30 with a night of change. We will leave feeling lighter and with a greater understanding about what we can each do to recognize and manage all that is anxiety.
Parents can't afford to miss this opportunity. Post-filming discussion moderated by the filmmaker, Karin Gornick along with Jeremy Jensen, TMS school counselor, and a few of the TMS students who were featured in the film.
