Presentation Description: Larry will discuss a variety of charitable giving tricks and traps, and provide an update on any relevant proposed tax legislation and its potential impact in charitable giving.

Guest Speaker: Lawrence P. Katzenstein, JD


Speaker Bio: Larry Katzenstein is a nationally known authority on estate planning and exempt organizations, and a frequent speaker around the country to professional groups. He represents wealthy individuals in estate and philanthropic planning and serves as outside counsel to exempt organizations nationwide. He received a law degree from Harvard University.

Continuing Education:
MCLE – A Potpourri of Charitable Planning Tricks, Traps, & New Developments is approved for 1.2 total hours, including 0.0 elimination of bias hours.

CFRE – Full participation in “A Potpourri of Charitable Planning Tricks and Traps” is applicable for 1.0 points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.

Full refunds are available up to 4 business days prior to a program or event. After that time, we are unable to accommodate refunds unless SLCCGP cancels the program or event. Thank you for understanding.

If you register using the Member Pay at the Door ticket, you will be responsible to paying your registration fee even if you do not attend. 

SLCCGP and all of its affiliates reserve the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored or hosted by SLCCGP without the express written permission of those included within the photograph/video. SLCCGP may use the photograph/video in internal and external publications or materials produced, used, or contracted by SLCCGP. A person who does not wish to have their image recorded should make their wishes known to the photographer and/or the event organizers.
