Fifth Anniversary Symposium May 3-5, 2017

AWESOME's Fifth Anniversary Symposium, an invitation-only event for senior-level women leaders in supply chain, will be held May 3-5, with options for Downtown Chicago Experiences on May 5. Events will take place in Chicago, IL, at the University Club of Chicago and the surrounding downtown Chicago area.

Wednesday, May 3

11:00 am to 1:00 pm: General Check-in and Lunch

1:00 pm to 5:00 pm: Panel Discussions, Up-Close Conversations, Buzz Sessions

5:30 pm to 8:30 pm: Reception, Dinner & AWESOME Legendary Leadership Award

Thursday, May 4

7:30 am: Continental Breakfast available in meeting room

8:00 am to 3:00 pm: Panel Discussions, Up-Close Conversations, Buzz Sessions

4:30 pm to 6:30 pm: Networking Reception hosted by Deloitte

Dine-Arounds
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm: Small group, Dutch-treat dinners at Chicago's best restaurants. Indicate on the registration form whether you’ll join Dine-Arounds and you’ll be able to select your restaurant at a future date.

Friday, May 5 | Downtown Chicago Experiences

Participants may choose from the activities below:

• 7:30 am to 8:30 am: Guided power walk in downtown Chicago

• 9:30 am to 12:30 pm: Choose one the following three tours:
  • Option A:  1871 -- Chicago's Center for Technology & Entrepreneurship  This option has been filled. Option B is still available.
  • Option B:  Chicago Architecture Foundation / Architectural Tour --
          Evolution of Skyscrapers
  • Option C:  United Airlines Network Operations Center -- located in downtown Chicago  This option has been filled. Option B is still avaiable.

REGISTRATION CRITERIA

This is an invitation-only event for senior-level women in supply chain. 

If you are a member of the AWESOME network and have received your invitation, please proceed by clicking the "Register Now" button below. 

If you would like to attend the Symposium but did not receive an invitation directly from AWESOME, please read the following information about eligibility criteria. If you meet these criteria, please email mary.cline@awesomeleaders.org to request an invitation.

Eligibility Criteria: 

Chief Supply Chain Officers, VPs and Directors with supply chain responsibilities at manufacturing, retail, technology or other companies managing complex supply chains

Board members, C-suite and VP level leaders in large logistics and supply chain companies, including aerospace, aviation, rail and ocean companies ($500 million and above)

Board members and C-suite leaders in medium-sized logistics and supply chain companies ($100 – $500 million)

Partners and practice leaders of large consulting firms in supply chain management, engineering, technology or other related fields ($50 million and above)

Senior leaders in government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) focused on transportation and infrastructure

General / Flag Officers or other select senior leaders in military logistics or purchasing / acquisition roles

Professors of leading or emerging university-level programs in logistics and supply chain, engineering, information technology and other related programs

CEOs and Executive Directors of logistics or supply chain industry organizations

CANCELLATION POLICY 

In case of cancellation on or before March 31, an administrative fee of $85 will be deducted from the refund and applied to AWESOME's scholarship fund. After March 31, the registration fee is non-refundable.
