On Monday, July 17, 2017, Maine Maritime Academy
is pleased to host their Junior Safety @ Sea Seminar,
being presented by the Storm Trysail Foundation.
This hands on program gives junior sailors an opportunity to experience
the thrill of big boat sailing while simultaneously being introduced to
important safety practices and equipment.

Maine Maritime Academy's Waterfront Staff and Schooner
Bowdoin Crew, along with Storm Trysail Members,
will guide you through class room sessions and
on-the-water drills of boating safety.
Just a few of the many topics that will be covered are:
Deck Safety ~ Fire Safety ~ Medical Emergencies ~ MOB ~
VHF Radio Communications
Weather ~ Storm Preparations ~ Teamwork and more!
Who: Open to Jr. Sailors and young adults ages 13 through 20.
Price: $28.00 per person - please see below for registration and payment.
All registrations, Waivers and Payments MUST be submitted by July 14.

Space is limited to crews of 6-8 Jr. Sailors for ten boats.
