New York African Chorus Ensemble Inc (NYACE) contributes to the diversity of New York City's vibrant cultural life. As a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization we are devoted to using the arts to bring people of diverse backgrounds together so that they would have a better understanding of their own and other people's cultural traditions.
Our desire to contribute to global harmony resulted in the creation of the Celebrate Diversity Celebrate You Festival (CDCY), which is an occasion that brings together different ethnic groups to Harlem, in celebration of our differences, and as a testimony to the peace and unity that could be achieved if we celebrate our cultural diversity rather than use it as a reason to hate or harm one another.
Celebrate Diversity Celebrate You Festival showcases over 40 countries in solo artists and groups from every borough through dances and music performances representing the traditional arts of these countries.
