 4-Round Swiss Tournament

U600 & U1000 Game 30 (G/25, d5)                U1400 & Open Game 45 (G/40,d5)

Tournament limited to 120 players

Onsite Registration: 11:00 – 11:30 AM, anyone registering late will receive a 1/2 point bye for round 1 if not paired

Rounds: Round 1 at 12:00 PM, rest ASAP

4 Sections: Open (K-12 & Adults), U1400 (K-12 & Adults), U1000 Children (K-8 Only), & U600 Children (K-8 Only)

Awards: Top 6 U600 & U1000 Sections, Top 5 U1400 & Open Sections. Players in U600 receive participation award. 

Entry Fee: $30 early, $35 after Monday before, $40 after Friday before

Refunds: Refunds given up to 24 hrs before start of round 1, does not apply after tournament sells out.

Discount:  $5 off to siblings and school team members when registering together

Food & refreshments available for purchase, sets provided, bring your chess clock if you have one,  USCF Membership Required

Upon completion of the series in December the player with the most points in each section shall be declared the Champion of the Quest and receive a golden cup trophy (metal) on a marble base. The point system for the series: Win 1.0, Draw .5, Loss .25.
