Discussion will include how IVAT has worked with the military, law enforcement, medical professionals, educators and social service providers to incorporate ACEs science into their services and to increase the understanding of the impact of ACEs on ourselves, our teams/co-workers and colleagues. The multidisciplinary practical applications of the ACEs science are expanding and improving the response to child, adolescent and adult victims/survivors through proper identification of trauma and it’s short- and long -term impacts as well as increased understanding of the critical importance of the research around resilience.
