Main Street Gardnerville Adopt-a-Pot & Pumpkin Decor (for Main Street District between Tolar & Church)

Over the years, students at Smith Valley School, China Springs Youth and Douglas High School grew all the plants under their FFA advisor. Most of these plants are started from seeds in small six and eight pack containers. Once the plants are well established and ready to be transplanted, the Flower Committee volunteers then create 56 beautiful pots. ADOPT-A-POT PROGRAM IS FOR BUSINESSES AND PROPERTIES ALONG HIGHWAY 395 N. IN THE DOWNTOWN DISTRICT BETWEEN TOLAR LANE AND CHURCH STREET TO BRING VIBRANCY TO THE DOWNTOWN TO MAKE IT INVITING FOR VISITORS TO STOP AND SHOP.
