Since 1978, the Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (TAAC) has helped more than 1,500 firms recover from the effects of foreign competition. The center has provided more than $60 million in assistance.
The TAAC is one of 11 regional centers throughout the country that provides assistance under the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms (TAAF) program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce (Economic Development Administration). The TAAC will assist import-impacted firms in strategic areas of importance, including:
Use TAAC funds to hire consultants to provide expert assistance aimed at improving your firm’s competitive advantage. These funds are applied toward the cost of consultants, engineers, designers or industry experts for improvement projects.
