Please join us for 2022 Idaho Office of Emergency Management's Annual Preparedness and Cybersecurity Conference in Boise, ID on October 11-13. Topics will include emergency preparedness, disaster recovery, mitigation activities, cyber preparedness and defense, and more. Join us in keeping Idaho communities prepared and resilient!

Who should attend the IOEM Annual Preparedness and Cybersecurity Conference:

The APCC is an education, outreach, and training event for local and state government officials including emergency managers, County Commissioners or Tribal Council Members as well as cyber professionals from state and local government or the private sector.

Cost to Attend:

IOEM will sponsor one county or tribal Emergency Manager per jurisdiction, as well as three County Commissioners or Tribal Council Members per jurisdiction, and one cybersecurity professional per jurisdiction. Sponsorship will include travel, lodging, and per diem reimbursement when applicable. If you are being sponsored by IOEM, you are required to sign in and attend the following full days of the conference:

  • County/Tribal Emergency Managers - Day 1 and Day 2
  • County Commissioners/Tribal Council Members - Day 1 and Day 2
  • Cybersecurity Professionals - Day 2 and Day 3

We encourage everyone to attend all three days of the conference for a well-rounded emergency management/cybersecurity update.

In addition, IOEM will be hosting a National Level Recovery Exercise on Thursday October 13th at the Idaho Response Center (IRC). Emergency Managers, Commissioners and Tribal Councilmembers have an additional opportunity to spend day three of the conference participating or observing the exercise at the new IRC. Cybersecurity sponsored attendees must attend day three on site at the APCC.

For all other participants, the registration fee for the IOEM Annual Preparedness Conference is $75.

Registration for the October 13th Cybersecurity Day is free. Registration is required to attend.
