About Our Speakers:

    

Laura Morlando

Laura Morlando The Stress Commando “Combats Stress One Solution At A Time” as a speaker, coach, and skincare and makeup educator. Laura works with companies, groups and individuals needing simple stress relieving solutions in their professional day. Laura has been an ABWA member since 2002. She joined primarily to network but has stayed a member because of the tremendous personal and professional growth she has experienced in addition to the relationships she has forged. Laura believes “ABWA is a Grow YOU group”. She is passionate about helping other women make the most of their ABWA experience.

Laura currently serves as a Director for the American Business Women’s Foundation. She has served on the 2013-2014 ABWA National Board of Directors and held 17 other leadership positions locally and nationally. As an ABWA Ambassador, Laura mentors ABWA members and ABWA leagues towards best practices and personal success. Laura graduated from ABWA’s Park University, Women Leaders In The 21st Century October 2014 and has completed six other APEX Suite of Courses. Laura also completed the ABWA Stanford University, Scaling Up course October 2014. Laura was chosen to represent ABWA at the 2013 Marine Boot Camp / Educators Workshop in San Diego. Laura says that, “ABWA is The You, That YOU will Become!” She credits her success transitioning from corporate America to being a successful entrepreneur, speaker and coach to her engagement with ABWA.

 

Jennifer Moussa

Jennifer Moussa is a residential REALTOR® with Right Choice Realty LLC, who works with those looking to lease, list, & buy usually for the first-time in the DFW Metroplex. She joined the American Business Women’s Association near the beginning of 2016 & credits Outlook Positive Express Network with the growth she has experienced. From 2016-2017, Jennifer has been the VP of Membership, received the Protégé award, worked on implementing the ABWA Series for the benefit of both prospective & current members, been the Website Mistress for DACA, and assisted as a Fundraiser Chair for two events for OPEN’s sponsorship of a candidate as well. This year, she is the 2017-2018 VP of Membership, chaired the holiday party, working on fine-tuning the ABWA series, stepped up as a co-Campaign Manager, & recently, she was awarded 2018 Woman of the Year for OPEN.

Through her opportunities with ABWA & her pursuit of professional education, Jennifer became a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute before finishing her first year in real estate. Currently, she’s working towards a certification as a Luxury Home Marketing Specialist having recently passed the course, a national designation in Staging, & using the skills she’s learned with ABWA to enhance her business. If she had to pick two philosophies, one is a person can learn from any experience, especially if it’s outside the comfort zone. The other is pay it forward by sharing, preparing, & caring.

Early Bird by March 15th $15 for members | $20 for guests

Late Registration $25 

Cost includes program, networking and light food. Meals cannot be guaranteed with late registrations.
