Florida Health Disparities Summit 2016 

The Florida Health Disparities Summit will foster interactions among Florida-based organizations with the goal of creating long-term partnerships with academic, clinical and research institutions that lead to the development and implementation of evidence based health innovations and research furthering the Florida Health Disparities Research Agenda. 

Faculty

The distinguished faculty includes scientists, researchers, public health practitioners and community leaders from leading institutions in the Florida area and around the country will share information regarding research, advocacy and funding opportunities targeting the elimination of health disparities. The discussion will also include best practices in community involvement in the development of promising strategies to reduce and eliminate health disparities.

Continuing Medical Education Credits (CME)

The National Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The National Medical Association designates this live activity for AMA PRA Category Credits™. The number of CME credits to be determined based on the final agenda.
